Research Manager

This is the first management grade within the company. Research Managers are expected to possess almost the full range of consultancy skills and knowledge. In this role, staff begin to develop people management and mentoring skills and the competence to manage and successfully complete a multi-project portfolio.

In addition to staff and project management competence, Research Managers are expected to possess the very best client facing skills, excellent presentational and meeting skills, the ability to manage and extract the best from focus and working groups, a wide understanding of research methodology, and the tact and insight necessary to being able to effectively meet the client's needs.

This is also the grade at which the job holder is expected to mentor, support and assist junior staff.

We look for all of this, and more, in our Research Managers, not only on behalf of our clients, but because Research Managers are expected to contribute to the development of Pye Tait Limited as a business.

As they show that they are able to master all of these skills, Research Managers will be considered for Senior Research Manager status.

Research Manager starting salaries are competitive and are dependent on experience and qualifications.
