Business-Education Links

A major challenge that is being progressively met through the efforts of private companies and public bodies is that of linking education closer to the industrial and commercial world (and vice versa).

Through innovative work by sector and local organisations, and tremendous good will and effort on the part of employers, great strides are being made in enabling young people and their teachers to understand and even to sample the world of work.

Similarly, employers and their staff are being given the opportunity to understand how the education system works and how they can assist it to produce the sort of high level entrants that they need.
