A UK-wide study into the current education and training situation on a major new-technology sector.
It’s objective was to provide policy makers with robust data on which to design future interventions and to support currently successful ones.
The study examined both provision by type and qualifications and learner numbers across the entire UK. It’s findings were extremely valuable in that they provided hard evidence that the intuitive view of the sector as being mainly 'degree oriented' tends to ignore a significant proportion of the workforce who require intermediate level training and qualifications.
